Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 29, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Omilia Visuals (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies, local browser storage, and similar technologies on omiliavisuals.com (the “Website”), and the choices you have regarding their use. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are commonly used to make websites work, remember preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising or security features.

We also use similar technologies such as local browser storage and third-party scripts. Some technologies are set by us, while others may be set by the third parties whose services we use.

2. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use these technologies for the following purposes:

  • Essential and security purposes: to keep forms functioning, prevent abuse, and support legitimate booking or checkout activity.
  • Preferences and attribution: to remember your cookie banner choice and retain limited campaign attribution data such as referral source, landing page, and UTM parameters.
  • Analytics and performance: to understand how visitors use the Website and how pages perform.
  • Marketing and advertising: to measure ad performance and build remarketing audiences using consent-based Google and Meta tags.
  • Embedded or redirected service flows: booking and payment providers may use their own technologies when you actively interact with those services.

3. Technologies We Currently Use

The exact technologies loaded can change over time as the Website evolves. The examples below describe the categories currently used on the Website.

3.1 Essential and Security Technologies

  • ov-cookie-consent: a first-party local storage key used to remember whether you accepted or dismissed the cookie banner. It remains until you clear your browser storage.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: anti-spam and abuse-prevention technology used on website forms. Turnstile may collect browser or interaction signals and may set short-lived challenge-related technologies where needed.
  • Cal.com and Stripe: booking and checkout providers may set their own session or security technologies when you actively use those flows.

3.2 Functional and Attribution Storage

  • ov-marketing-attribution: a first-party local storage key used to retain referral and campaign attribution details such as UTM parameters, landing page, referrer, and first visit time so we can connect inquiries and purchases to marketing campaigns. It remains until cleared or replaced in your browser storage.

3.3 Analytics and Performance Technologies

  • Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights: used to measure site traffic, page performance, and user experience in aggregated form.
  • Google tags: after you accept the cookie banner, the Website may load Google technologies for traffic measurement, conversion tracking, and ad performance. Depending on configuration, these may include Google Ads and/or Google Analytics 4.

3.4 Marketing and Advertising Technologies

  • Meta Pixel: after you accept the cookie banner, Meta may set or read advertising identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc to support ad delivery, attribution, and audience building.
  • Google advertising technologies: after you accept the cookie banner, Google may set or read advertising or conversion identifiers, which can include technologies such as _gcl_au depending on the Google tags in use.

3.5 Tag Management

We may use Google Tag Manager to manage Google tracking scripts. Google Tag Manager itself is used as a deployment mechanism for tags, but the tags it loads may set their own cookies or identifiers after consent.

4. Your Choices Regarding Cookies

You have several options for managing cookies and similar technologies:

  • Cookie banner: clicking Accept allows the Website to load consent-based Google and Meta tags. If you dismiss the banner, those consent-based tags are not loaded, but basic storage, security, booking, or checkout technologies may still operate when needed.
  • Browser settings: most browsers let you block, limit, or delete cookies and local storage. Disabling all cookies may affect forms, anti-spam features, bookings, or checkout flows.
  • Google Analytics opt-out: if Google Analytics is in use, you may opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Meta ad preferences: you can manage Meta advertising preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.

5. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is currently no consistent industry standard for responding to these signals. At this time, the Website does not respond specifically to Do Not Track signals, but you can manage cookies using the methods described above.

6. Canadian Privacy Law

We operate under PIPEDA, which governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information in the course of commercial activity. We seek meaningful consent for the collection and use of personal information, including through cookies and similar technologies where appropriate.

If you are located in another jurisdiction with different consent requirements, such as the European Union under the GDPR or Quebec under Law 25, you may also manage your preferences through our cookie banner and your browser settings.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Website, our providers, or applicable legal requirements. Changes are effective when posted to this Website. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
